Then I had 3 interviews, including coding, system design, and some behavioral questions.
HR called to say that I'd passed and scheduled an interview with a manager.
THAT WAS THE WORST INTERVIEW EVER!
The interviewer behaved very unprofessionally – he even had his feet on the chair or on the sofa. The manner was extremely disrespectful.
He asked me to implement a timer without using a built-in timer, which was a strange and confusing question, especially after I had already passed the LeetCode-style and System Design parts of the interview.
The level of the question was unusual; he expected me to figure out that I could use a now() function across different departments to implement the timer. It was something I had never encountered before.
Overall, it was a very unusual and uncomfortable interview experience.
