My interview was held remotely at the beginning of the pandemic.
Some of the steps were weird, as they were still figuring out how to interview remotely. But it covered a range of topics that I would expect to cover in a Software Engineering interview.

Pros: A good way to gain work experience for students. A great opportunity to show one's value, which might lead to a full-time position at Microsoft.
Cons: In Prague, the whole return offer process is pretty chaotic. While there is a push to be more transparent, it's always hard to know exactly what the outcome at the end of the internship will be.
