Pros: Looks good on your CV. You have the option to transfer to Redmond or elsewhere after a while.

Cons: This Microsoft is not what Microsoft is supposed to be. Don't come here if you value your free time, personal life, or sanity. The local company culture is insane. At some point, you will be regularly working illegal amounts of overtime, working while sick, working over weekends, or working at night and asking yourself why you even came here. There is this ever-present tension; everything needs to be done yesterday, and in the end, you're working on a product that sends spam. Multiple people ended up in a hospital due to this environment. Don't come here unless you want to use it as a stepping stone to find something better.

Pros: Good work-life balance, food, transport, etc.

Cons: Lower base pay compared to others.
