The interview process began with an initial phone screen, followed by an on-site interview. The on-site experience was amazing and demonstrated how well Microsoft treats its future interns and employees.
There were four rounds of whiteboard coding, each lasting approximately 45 minutes. These rounds included:
- Basic LeetCode Easy and Medium questions
- One design question
- One LeetCode Hard question

Pros: You work with a lot of great people that are really smart. With such a large user base, you can have a huge impact.
Cons: No free food. The red tape around getting paid, benefits, and infrastructure in general can be pretty terrible.
It gets better after the first few weeks.
