Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience - Redmond, Washington

October 1, 2019
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

The behavioral interview over the phone went really well. A lot of questions were based around my experiences and what I might be able to add to their team.

The next step of the interview was the code interview. It seemed hectic, as there were around 35 applicants interviewing that day, so the interviewing period seemed a little rushed.

Questions

Q: What is a situation where you've had to make a hard decision? (e.g., two people have different ideas on how to approach a project).

Q: Given a string, replace certain elements in the string with emoticons.
