Sharing my experience at the Bangalore office. It was horrible.
The first two rounds were completely about Data Structures, and a decision was made. Not a single round related to front-end.
In the second round, the interviewer asked again about DS and PS. I thought, "Why again? We just had a previous round."
He asked me to design a T9 dictionary system. My solution was a combination of hash maps and a trie, and still, he was not happy. If anyone has a suggestion, please do let me know.
Then he asked me about how I manage memory in JS. I replied that JS takes care of it by itself, and we rarely need to worry about it. Again, he was not happy with the answer. Please suggest if there is a solution to this, except for detaching event listeners.
And at last, he asked why I am using frameworks and what React and Angular do. To this, I just replied with simple answers about the built-in features and functions that make developers' lives easy.
So, I got negative feedback for a UI developer role, where no relevant questions related to front-end were asked.
Also, these two rounds took 6 hours.
