Pros

Some really smart people, and some really good managers.

A rich company, built some good products.

Lots of opportunity if you land in the right team and a good manager.

Cons

Lots of lousy managers.

Very political, it has gotten very political even down to the lead level.

Lots of deadwood.

The bulk of OSD is unable to transition to a service paradigm.

The latest reorg shows the CEO is out of touch.

[The CEO] stacked it so that the next CEO's job [is] a lot more difficult.

Advice to Management

Get back to basics: honesty, integrity, and providing value to the customer.

Get rid of the deadwood.

Get a CEO who can stand up to Bill and the board.
