Outstanding technological exposure. Only a handful of employers offer the production environment of a comparable size. Competitive salaries and benefits.
Too much politics. Engineers used to be pitted against each other. The situation is improving, but not even close as fast as they claim.
There is huge potential for improvement in the organization structure and control. Right now, different teams of the org don't know, and don't care too much, what others do. Sometimes peer teams wage political competitions without proper management arbitrage. The company earns so much that looking the other way works out, and fixing the issue does not seem important. But if there was proper collaboration and control over what is going on in the company, it would be making 10 times more.
First round phone call with the talent team. We discussed their experience and the roles they have in the space. Then, we moved on to some technical questions and talked about the rest of the interview process.
Fast and quick, but the questions were tricky. The interviewer was nice, and we got along well. The interview process was efficient, and communication was clear throughout. I appreciated the professionalism and friendliness, though preparation is key
This was a standard coding screen: a technical coding challenge with your language of choice (I used Python) in a CoderPad-like editor. This followed an initial recruiter screen, which was just to make sure the resume and job matched.
