Pros

Great benefits, work-life balance, and you can really grow and expand your network here.

Cons

Too many layers of management that lack vision and direction. No one is held accountable for their areas, which causes very broad and ambiguous roles. It can get exhausting trying to chase people down to get things done. The scope is very small and limited; I see no room for growth in my role. Management and leadership are very poor, and I sense a lot of ageism and favoritism.

Advice to Management

Identify and drive clarity on vision and direction for your team.

Create and build relationships with partner orgs and hold each other accountable.

Make sure that middle managers are executing on the vision and managing their team properly.
