Reasonable workplace most of the time
Good and interesting work, good work hours, occasional overtime.
Lately, Microsoft is prone to sudden layoffs. Even FTEs can be let go, even if there is no issue with their performance. Also, even though the majority of people are decent and helpful, there are a few bad apples here and there.
There are some higher managers that are real jackasses and would release certain products with major bugs in them, and subsequently, blame others for their faults.
