Pros
  • Large pool of technical resources to learn and consult.
  • Decent compensation, especially after being with the company more than 5 years.
  • Great benefits and a good, supportive environment for internal transfers.
Cons
  • The performance review and calibration model caused a side effect of 'promoting' working in silos and against each other, since someone in an organization must be rated excellent and someone must be rated bad.
  • The company is getting a bit too big, which is a side effect of losing agility and higher management lacking knowledge of team members. This resulted in potentially unfair/unjustified employee ratings.
  • Becoming too big led to a 'diminishing returns' operating model.
