Flexible working arrangements. Expectations are high, but (depending on the organization) you have a lot of flexibility when and where to work.
Good pay and benefits. Stock awards are lucrative (yearly award - vests 10% every 6 months) if you are ready for or capable of long-term employment.
Long-haul travel can in many cases be done in business class.
- Redmond / US centric. Core product work is mostly done in Redmond.
- Very cumbersome and time-consuming purchasing process. It hurts day-to-day job execution.
