Ability to move to different groups when a project finishes up. This was my second go-around with Microsoft.
The traffic into work in Bellevue was the worst. Sometimes it would take two hours from Woodinville to Bellevue.
What is the next path to success for the company besides Windows & Office?

Several rounds of f2f interview. Lot of programming questions - database, logical Qs, USB related etc. The candidate has to write the solutions on whiteboards. It's good to talk to folks who challenge you on your programming skills.
