I was fortunate to be part of an acquisition, and our team was fairly large. As a result, we all sort of kept together, and they let us play as we always did for a few years. The new division that we are in is also super on board with human life, so they do try hard to make sure we are covered – at least from my remote vantage point.
My division is really trying to get diversity, inclusion, and collaboration on point. However, not all divisions/teams are, and this is really more of a sign of the division working, not the company as a whole. I have heard some horror stories from teams I have worked with, so it is pretty sad.
