Pros

Passionate, high-performance co-workers. Working with customers and becoming trusted advisors is rewarding.

Cons

Internal role movement is very difficult. Over 90% of field resources leave the company. Current leadership is disconnected from the field, enforcing poor strategies, hindering our own success with internal bureaucracy, and burdening customers with additional costs that are unnecessary. Benefits and pay have been severely eroded over the last 2-3 years, whilst making record profits. Managers have become very myopic and reactive to sales metrics, as opposed to understanding industry trends and field enablement. Drawn-out layoffs, numbers chasing, and a lack of culture have really hit overall morale. People are no longer excited and energized.

Advice to Management

Leadership has lost its mojo, as demonstrated in recent keynotes. Many lacked energy and finesse.

It feels like many new corporate leaders have joined from external roles who lack experience and understanding of the customer success market and cloud.

Org change management is hilariously bad; most announcements are actually leaked rather than communicated.

HR is on an optimization spree, making overall prospects negative compared to the past.
