You can become too complacent, and career growth may stall, unless you are motivated enough to constantly keep evaluating your situation.

Not enough opportunity to learn new (non-Microsoft) technologies. Although this is changing in many teams now.

Advice to Management
  • Be open-minded and adopt a growth mindset.
  • Create opportunities to develop new tech skills for ICs.
  • Don't let a laid-back culture set in.
