Pros

Lots of opportunity to work across a wide range of customers and industries.

Cons

Fake culture. Nothing "fun" to do (even meeting colleagues) due to budget cuts. The layoffs were handled terribly. Lots of pointless reorgs which end up creating a more bloated and confusing working environment than we began with.

Advice to Management
  1. Stop gaslighting your employees by telling them what is best for them.

  2. Think about the culture you are creating. If there are no incentives to meet each other or have internal conferences to look forward, this hurts morale. Moving all conferences to Teams only and killing the budget for in-person conferences is what has made me plan to leave.

  3. Customer-facing roles need flexibility to meet customers' demands exactly where they are. All of this overhead and process put in place with MCEM and VBDs is a mistake.
