Interview with 3 people from the department that was looking to hire a new software developer, which took place at the Redmond campus. All 3 people had several questions relating to both past experience and hypothetical situations. Different problems

A 15-minute phone interview was followed by an email invitation for a technical interview. The technical interview process lasted four hours, with a 10-minute break in between. Overall, the process was well-organized and straightforward.

If you are applying through a job portal or as an external candidate, Microsoft may send an online coding assessment. Problems focus on data structures, algorithms, and system design. Typically 2-3 coding problems (LeetCode Medium to Hard level).
