The Bangalore BingAds Org is very bad. There is no growth. Also, teams are not growing in numbers; existing people are overloaded and frustrated. Other Orgs like Azure and Office are relatively much better.
For your work to be recognized as good or bad, it needs to come from people in the US. Some managers here are very oblivious to what team members are doing.
Salary and monetary benefits are very subpar to industry standards.
The way many people get promoted is not because management recognizes their work but because they show an offer of employment with much better perks from another company.
There is very bad Bangalore leadership. Essential local leaders are old Kannadigas who intend to retire here; you can understand what to expect from this.
Those who join the Bangalore Office only do it to shift to the US, and people who are local to Bangalore.
Some things are outright weird, which I cannot mention here.
Change Bangalore Leadership.
Three Data Science and Algorithm rounds were there. In each round, two questions of medium complexity were asked. After discussing the solution, I was asked to write the program. It was fine to use dummy code.
This interview included telephonic and online technical interviews. There were a total of 4-5 rounds, I think. The interviewers were good, and I had a positive experience. I was interviewing for a frontend role.
Two technical rounds followed by an HR round. * The first round is more of a test of knowledge in the versions and releases of different frameworks. * The second round is more about design patterns and a simple computational knowledge check.
