Bureaucracy and too much favoritism
The Microsoft interviewing team came to a college fair. They conducted one round of interviews there. After that, I completed an assessment and two phone interviews. The entire process took two weeks.
The first round was a technical screening. We had a good discussion over my resume, and they asked technical questions related to it. Apart from that, I also had a short coding round for 10-15 minutes.
