MS is a great company to experience scale. Any product you work on has to be ready to be used by thousands of users, likely across many different countries.
This brings with it challenges both on an engineering and operational level. Moreover, with there being so many different products, if you're unhappy with the work you do, there's a good chance for an internal transfer to a different team.
Depending on what you work on, sometimes there are a lot of slow processes or red tape to go through before you can release a change.
