Focus on the short term has ruined a great company
Stable employment and good benefits.
Management only interested in moving up.
Figure out how to decentralize and create autonomous groups. The current manager cadre is only focused on their careers, and their decisions are always those that are least likely to risk their careers. Trying to do anything new from a process perspective is a career-limiting move.
