Ability to get access and information to the people that built and developed the applications you are using.

Cons

You have a harder time getting visibility if you work remotely, as most people can only think about you if they see you, and even that only at the 'right' time.

Advice to Management

Figure out why Principal-level managers and engineers are not getting fired, but it is easy to get rid of normal employees to increase stock value.
