If you have tons of experience, don't expect it to be used at all.
What would be a 2-week job in a smaller company takes 2 months. The build environment, while overkill, can slow down productivity because that is the way it is done! Change is impossible.
Get a proper job. Come back and stop the attitude that delivery for the customer is secondary to making life for developers calm and relaxed to the point of glacial.
