Pros

Flexible work hours, great medical benefits, a stable environment, and decent salaries (relative to peers/competitors). The brand name can help with future employment. The cost of living in the Greater Seattle area is reasonable.

Cons

Too much red tape and internal politics at every rung of the corporate ladder. Decisions are made in an extremely slow and inefficient manner (even relative to other Fortune 100 peers).

Advice to Management

Make specific and relevant management skills training a requirement for each promotion on the management track. Make staying for one year the minimum for each upper management position. Have an on-time/on-budget award system in the product groups.
