When working at Microsoft, you are constantly in a challenging environment, full of brilliant people and with many opportunities to learn new things. Compensation is above average, and work/life balance is good, as long as you are responsible and show good performance.
This is a huge company, and sometimes it is difficult to feel that you have a real impact. You need to keep the big picture in mind to see where your contribution is.
Focus in the future. The world is moving towards mobile and big data; try to get a grip on those. Keep innovating and developing amazing products.
