Pros

Benefits are great, and work/life balance is excellent.

Cons

The company is too big, and latecomers have a very hard time advancing and proving themselves. Also, Microsoft doesn't value experience gained before joining the company much, which frequently results in putting experienced people at very low pay grades.

Advice to Management

Concentrate on excelling at a few areas where we are leading. We should not be in every business under the sun.
