The company as a whole is averse to taking risks in creating new markets. It lets competitors create and define a new market, then moves in when the competitor is successful (many examples: Search and Google, iPhone and Apple).
It is slow-moving many times.
Many incompetent middle managers exist – move as quickly as possible out of those teams.
Salary is average.
There is questionable leadership at the very top.
Take more risks in creating new markets. Copying quickly is not a strategy that works over the long term.
