You'll learn a lot of things and be made a perfectionist quickly in software development. I met some of the very best managers and peers in my career.
Re-interviews when moving around the company. Some teams are good, others not. A lot of politics and shuffling as projects come and go. The company was not (2014) moving in good directions until Nadella became CEO.
While many of my managers are compassionate and caring to me and my career, I've seen others that are not.
I urge all managers to care about building a career for their employees, and in return, they will overperform.
