Pros
  • If you find a good team, you'll be able to work with very smart and result-driven people.
  • Very flexible (working hours, etc.).
Cons

Unfortunately, there are some weaker teams as well, with some folks that should have never been hired to this company.

There's also non-unified tools and infrastructure across divisions, but that's changing, fortunately!

Advice to Management

Invest more in tooling. Create separate teams working on infrastructure and tools for the whole company, not only for specific groups.
