Nothing is as great as it looks from the outside. They hired me 6 months back and just fired me without any reason. Performance was not the reason for sure, as I just got a nice appraisal last month itself.
Job security, no good projects, management too bad.
Think before you take any decision, and at least consult the person who will be affected by this decision.
