They are not necessarily the most innovative company (unless you are talking about the Xbox side of things), but they are the best marketing engine around.
Benefits for FTEs are excellent.
Work-life balance is terrible, but it is slowly getting better over the years. Middle management is all over the map. There are excellent managers and there are terrible managers.
When your project ships, you look for a new position internally. Can't find one? You are out!
Treat contractors better. Just because you are an FTE does not mean you have the right to treat contractors like scum.
