Overall, my experience here at MS has been very satisfying
One of the biggest pros is the access to knowledge. MS has a very large library that one is afforded access to. This has proven invaluable to me as I seek to gain more knowledge of programming techniques.
One of the biggest cons of working as a contractor is that you aren't afforded the same opportunities as an FTE. While I do realize this is more my issue than Microsoft's, I do still feel contractors are not given the same playing field as FTEs. I work in an org where a large majority of the employees are contractors, yet we're not given the same tools as FTEs.
