Pros

The trick is to really understand where you want to work and pick the right team. If you want fast career advancement, pick a high-growth team, such as Bing or Ads Center, and stay away from traditional Office and Windows teams. These teams also allow greater flexibility and innovation. If you would rather work on honing your technical skills only, you should choose the more traditional teams. Overall, it's a great place to work, and the benefits are some of the best in the industry.

Cons

Career growth can be slow in some traditional teams.

Advice to Management

Should be good at upward management, especially if hired under a new manager.

Take advantage of mentorship programs and resources within the company to grow.
