Pros

Work/life balance is great. Work from home full time. Expectations are great. Work can be stressful, but most of the time it is pretty laid back. As a contractor, you are expected to only put in your 40 hours a week. Get to work on cutting-edge technology.

Cons

As a contractor, you will work while everyone else is at a team building event or company meeting.

Full-time employment offers have been at a 50% reduction in pay, forcing me to stay a contractor.

Advice to Management

Treat your contractors well. They are doing a lot of work with almost no recognition.
