A good place to start your career
You constantly work with the latest Microsoft technologies. You have hundreds of product groups that you can interview with to find one that you are very interested in. You work with smart people for the most part, so you can grow professionally unlike any other place.
No exposure to the real world or technologies on other platforms. Most of the time, you are competing with your teammates for a good review. This fosters a poisonous environment, lack of cooperation, backstabbing, and so on. This is perhaps the biggest downside to working at Microsoft. However, most other large companies have similar issues.
We need to understand why the stock price has stagnated for 10 years.
