Work was good. Getting fired hurt more than it should
Great benefits, fully remote, even living locally.
I spent 11 years giving my all, then was let go in a single day with no severance. I clearly had some fault in it, but I got enemy-of-the-year treatment undeservedly.
Give more thought to hiring good managers. Just because someone's a good IC, doesn't mean they'll bring out the best in others.
