Pros

Great benefits: Drinks, salary, flex schedule, tuition reimbursement, vast amount of books & training.

Lots of variety of work in Microsoft, and have opportunity to explore different areas.

Cons

The overall hierarchy and politics that take place everywhere and every time.

The downside, particularly for MSIT for new hires, is that the work is not as exciting and challenging, and you'll be left wondering a lot of times if it's worth spending time here versus elsewhere. However, it will be good for people who are interested in IT processes.

Advice to Management

Learn to lead with intrinsic motivation and values, instead of just offering stocks and money.
