Pros

Relaxed overall environment (pro) that can seamlessly merge into incompetency (con).

Company doing well (riding on the shoulders of giants more than actual management skill).

Cons

Blind focus on business impact without paying any attention to the tech stack on hand.

Promotions are dependent on age spent in the company.

Slaves to Redmond.

Overly visible engineering culture. Focus more on show than reliable, effective, sustainable actual work. Huge negative.

Relentless hiring and resultant lowballing has led to a severe reduction in morale.

Bad salary equalization practices. People coming from bigger employer brands receive better packages regardless of actual skill.

Advice to Management

Don't hire people if you can't find good work for them. Also, please tell people who created rubbish to clean it up instead of hiring others to do it.

As of now, it's a modern-day caste system.
