Seriously one of the most underrated places to work. Microsoft has a reputation for not being as prestigious amongst tech companies, but wow, I really felt my work made an impact. Contrary to most other companies, interns directly work on shipped products. When you leave, your work will still be relevant and won't be buried under some stack never to be seen again.
There's free gym membership, an awesome intern gift (SurfaceBooks this year!), and tons of interesting intern events, talks, etc.
The company's culture is kind of inconsistent. Some teams are amazing, while others are terrible. There's no free food.
