Happy working for an excellent manager, but probably would have quit if I had to work for someone else
decent salary and benefits, connector shuttles around the Seattle area.
It's hard to move around within Microsoft. Ex-MSFT folks have a bad reputation around Seattle. There's lots of process and red tape, and so many meetings.
Morale is in the toilet after multiple rounds of layoffs over the past six months. Everyone I've talked to recently who's still there complains nonstop about how unhappy they are and how they're trying to find new jobs ASAP.
