Microsoft has good WLB. Colleagues and managers are kind.
It provides less compensation compared to other big tech companies. The management is in disarray. There are no clear boundaries on responsibilities. The leaders lack a clear vision for the company.

I applied through a recruiter. It was much easier than I expected. It started off with a technical HackerRank screening of two medium and one hard LeetCode problems. - 1st Round: System Design and LLD of something like a sports scoreboard (30 mins)
