For me, the work itself has been a good experience.
There are many payment problems. Sometimes they pay you more and you have to return it later. Sometimes they don't pay you and you don't notice, so you end up not getting paid at all. Sometimes they pay you partially and then you have to chase them for months to try to get the rest of your salary.
The implementation of the time clock system was a chaos. There was no official communication about who should clock in, there was no training on how to use the tool, there was no start date. People started clocking in spontaneously, but some people still don't clock in to this day.
So, as if the previous points weren't enough, the engineering team working in Brazil is practically a ping-pong ball between HR in the US and HR in Brazil. The people there know a little about us, the people here know a little about them, but no one really knows everything and takes responsibility. After all, we work for managers from abroad, but we are registered here. This might seem minor, but in everyday life, if you need HR help because you haven't been paid, your salary was incorrect, or any other issue, you will depend on luck. They might respond in a day, or it might take 15 days or more.
It was a good, crisp, and to-the-chase interview. It consisted of 3 rounds, back-to-back, 45 minutes each. Round 1: OOPS Round 2: LLD Round 3: DSA coding round.
Behavior and problem-solving. The interview started with the behavioral part, then problem-solving. Like, you have an array, and in this array, you want to get all products of all numbers except the current number.
After submitting the CV, if not filtered out, you get a home assignment. If passed, there's an interview day (3 independent interviews). If you pass all those interviews, you get an offer in the evening.
