Pros

Microsoft is a huge company with a bunch of different products.

You can decide whether you want to work on a gaming platform, an operating system, or productivity products, like the Office suite.

There's a lot of opportunity for moving between teams and between product silos.

Cons

A lot of the products that Microsoft sells feel heartless. It is hard to find meaning or connect with the end users when working on these. I therefore find it hard to stay motivated to be customer-oriented.

Advice to Management

Burnout is real, and it's not talked about enough. Help your employees set boundaries between work and life in order to promote long-term employee satisfaction. Simply having flexible schedules does not achieve that goal.
