Pros

Great benefits. Microsoft values its employees.

The culture also shifted in recent years from super individual competitor to making others successful and teamwork, which reduced stress levels at work to low.

Cons

Lots of reorganizations in the company. Employees have a different manager each year on average. Still trying to figure out how to be dynamic and swift in changing markets and customer needs/desires.

Advice to Management

A lot of old timers in management are holding tight to their chairs and waiting for their retirement, which is okay as long as they adopt change. Most of them don't.

The company either needs to shake off that dead weight or make sure proper accountability, as well as training programs and tools, are in place to modernize management layers for today's dynamic environment.
