Pros
  • Strong benefits.
  • Work on software that the entire planet uses.
  • Loads of internal opportunities.
  • Get to work with the best of the best, surrounded by super-smart people.
  • The business model: sell you things you want at a fair price (not give you things for free in exchange for all your data).
Cons
  • Poor management.
  • Historical experiences hold little value.
  • Only the highest performers are valued.
  • Too much politics; it is more of who you know than what you know.
  • Noisiest ones in the room are the ones that are heard.
  • In recent years, too eager to make changes for change's sake.
  • Too much top-down decision-making.
  • Overly PC. Diversity was valued as long as it met their definition of diversity. True diversity of values was not valued unless your values met their values.
