Was pressured to rush the delivery of a new product release, only to be laid off alongside 9,000 others—shortly before receiving an email stating that the engineering team would be expanding.
The technical debt across products is soul-destroying. If you're going to emulate Amazon, at least adopt the best practices, not just the culture of urgency.
