Pros

In some teams, managers would push teammates to do more. They want to have more progress and would ask teammates to do self-planned projects that were not planned for the fiscal year, prohibiting them from revealing these to the corporate team, which made the team so tired. If these self-planned projects succeeded, then managers would have better visibility. Besides, promotion opportunities differ between teams. It's very important to be in a good team.

Cons

Work-life balance at some point during the new fiscal year. Normally, at this time, managers would encourage you to take vacation. Most managers would express gratitude for what you have done, but there are also some extreme cases where managers do not.
