Compensation is okay; benefits packages are very high quality.
- Extremely poor work/life balance with much worse compensation than other big tech companies.
- Extremely old and difficult to use tech. Mountains of tech debt from decades of development; SLT offers no support in trying to improve that. Constantly dealing with timelines.
- Constantly get tight deadlines pushed on you.
- Extremely hierarchical management structure means ICs have ~8 or more layers of management pressure.
- Very little room for technical growth.
