Employees are not motivated. You better hope to get a good manager, or you're stuck where you are. A growth mindset is talked about but not upheld. Learn to climb the corporate ladder, and you'll be fine.
Make your managers go through training, or if you can't, then have someone co-manage with them. Don't make someone have to work for a first-time manager and have them make all the decisions. A horrible manager.
